Rise and shine, me lovers—Barrel & Bloom Festival is here, and it’s gonna be a proper good’un! This two-day festival is held at Rich’s Cider Farm in Somerset and offers two unique Somerset experiences.

You can choose to come to one day or enjoy the full weekend. Barrel & Bloom Festival promises a proper Somerset celebration for all ages. Get ready for a weekend to remember!

The ultimate West Country band are here!

At 5pm, the festival gates swing open, kicking off a night that’s as Somerset as a tractor rally in a cider orchard.

And no proper Somerset knees-up would be complete without The Wurzels! The ultimate West Country band are headlining with their iconic Scrumpy & Western sound, guaranteeing singalongs, stomping, and proper good times.

Before we ‘Drink Up Thy Zider’ with the boys, we’re kicking off the night in style with Harrisen Larner-Main at 7pm. With soaring vocals and an incredible live performance, Harrisen knows how to get the party started.

To close out the night, The Additions take the stage after The Wurzels, bringing a high-energy set packed with big riffs, massive singalongs, and all the anthems you know and love, keeping the festival buzzing right to the very end.

So, dust off yer boots, round up yer mates and get ready for a night of singalongs, cider and good ol’ Somerset fun!

Timings

Rich’s Cider Farm opens its doors from 9:00 AM on Saturday 10th May, so why not arrive early and soak up the best of Somerset before the festival begins?

Tuck into their famous carvery or some incredible local food, and explore Rich's famous cider selection, including Golden Harvest, Orchard Sparkling, Vintage, Raspberry Fused, Low Alcohol, and more.

Parking is available at Rich’s Cider Farm. Guests will be shown where to park by our stewards. Disabled parking is also available. There is a dedicated drop off point.

Under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Wild whimsical play in The Bloom Patch

This is a nature-inspired play space, filled with imaginative activities, Montessori play and outdoor fun for children 0+. Splash in the water play, dig for tiny treasures, or get messy in the mud kitchen. Make some noise with homemade music, put on a puppet show, or try your hand at miniature farming. Play classic garden games, snap a festival photo, and finish with a wander along the buzzing bumblebee trail.

Explore the giant oak vats in Rich’s Cider Museum, learn the history of Rich’s Cider, and watch how pip turns to pint in this fascinating behind-the-scenes experience.

Live music to soundtrack your day

We have live music from the extremely talented Billy Driscoll, whose raw, energetic performance will set the perfect tone for the day. His soulful voice and big acoustic sound make every song one to remember. More artists are set to be announced soon.

No need to worry about the weather, Barrel & Bloom Festival is a rain-proof event with covered spaces, ensuring the fun keeps going no matter what.

Festival parking is available just across the road in the farmers field.
